Welcome to WherePDF! Getting started is simple: create your free account, upload your first document (PDF, Word, scan, or web page), and start asking questions in natural language. Our AI reads your files and provides accurate answers with citations linking back to the exact source. You can upload up to 10 files on the free plan and ask 100 questions to explore how WherePDF transforms the way you work with documents. No credit card required, no complicated setup – just upload and ask.

Working with teams

WherePDF is designed for collaboration. With Pro accounts, you can create team workspaces and organize documents into collections by project, department, or topic. Invite team members to shared workspaces so everyone can ask questions across the same knowledge base. Answers can be saved, shared via link, or exported as summaries and reports. Your team can build a searchable library of insights, making institutional knowledge accessible to everyone – from onboarding new hires to resolving customer support tickets faster. Permissions and access controls ensure the right people see the right documents.

Privacy & security

Your data security is our top priority. All documents and answers are encrypted both in transit (using TLS) and at rest. We follow industry-standard access controls and regularly audit our systems. You retain full ownership of your documents and can delete them at any time – when you delete a file or account, we permanently remove all associated data from our servers. We never train our AI models on your private documents or share your data with third parties. For enterprise customers, we offer additional security features including SSO, audit logs, and custom data retention policies.
